Iwao Matsushima

The Cones
are the most elaborate and
most extraordinary of Matsushima’s Vessels
They are the signature pieces with which he is identified
Their size (up to 12” high) is among the largest in core-formed glass
Their making would challenge the most accomplished artist
Given the difficulty and the length of the process, Iwao is not certain as to how many more Cones he will still be able to do.
