In a presentation for the Metropolitan Glass Group, Sunday December 1, Sami Harawi will discuss the use of Murrina in the pre blown glass era, particularly by the Egyptians through its use in Contemporary Glass Art, well illustrated by the Work of Davide Salvadore.

One particular use of Murrina, is in Miniature Art. It is a very elaborate Work that few living artists do well. Two of those are the Father & Son team from Burano, Mario & Antonio Dei Rossi.
