June 18, 2006. I delivered today Visionary to its owners.
They had also invited me to a Father's Day BBQ. The magic of the gathering gave Visionary a value in my mind far beyond its monetary value, its technical tour de force or its esthetic appeal. It was the pleasure of getting to know the owners. In addition, they reconnected me to unique friends with whom I had not been in touch. To have spent time with them all and gotten to know the grown up children made it a memorable afternoon. |
