Longobarda story

The "Longobardi" people were in Italy for approximately 200 years from 600 to 780 AD.
The kingdom's capital was in Pavia, and they influenced all that region.
They loved Art and built the nicest churches and palaces, still seen in the territory today.

This piece is in the honor of the women of that time.
I have been reading a lot about them during the past months.
The last king was named Desiderio and his wife was Ansa.
The same word (ansa) is ussed in italian to call the river cove and the rivers bends.
It decided to dedicate this piece to Ansa (La Longobarda).
